Growth Audit
A 15-minute structured intake captures your product, market, goals, and constraints. The system pre-fills what it can from public information so you are not starting from a blank page.
Diffmode is a growth plan for teams that can't outspend their competitors. It cross-references 576 documented growth mechanisms against your budget, stage, team, and channel gaps — then synthesizes tactics your competitors aren't running. Day-by-day execution plan with tools, templates, and kill criteria.

At JetBrains Academy, I watched a pattern repeat across dozens of startups I worked with. Founders would build something genuinely useful, get to $500-$2,000 MRR, and then hit a wall. Not because the product was bad, but because they were competing for the same five marketing channels as everyone else.
The advice they got was always the same: “Try content marketing. Run paid ads. Build a community.” Generic playbooks that worked in 2018 but produce little in a saturated market.
I started collecting what actually worked. Not tactics from blog posts, but growth mechanisms from real companies that broke through plateaus. Why did a dental SaaS founder triple conversions by targeting hygienist conferences? Why did a field-service startup grow faster through local plumber meetups than through Google Ads?
After 576 patterns, the database became too large for a human to navigate. So I built a system to map it against any founder's situation automatically. That system became Diffmode.
Ex-growth lead at JetBrains Academy, where he worked on user acquisition for technical education products. Built Diffmode after watching founders repeatedly hit the same growth plateaus and noticing that the teams who broke through always found an angle their competitors had not considered.
Diffmode was built as a real working product first, not as a pitch deck. The onboarding, analysis, and report delivery flow in the production app all sit on top of the same mechanism database and synthesis logic described here.

Your situation is cross-referenced against 576 growth mechanisms from six categories. The system identifies channel gaps, combines mechanisms, and synthesizes tactics calibrated to your actual constraints instead of pulling from a generic template.
You get prioritized tactics with day-by-day plans, templates, budget allocation, and kill criteria so you know what to do first and what to stop if the signal is weak.
Every tactic traces back to documented growth mechanisms extracted from real companies. The point is not to sound clever; it is to give you reasoning you can inspect before you commit time or budget.
The system weighs your product, budget, team size, stage, and market. Two founders in the same vertical can get different strategies because their real operating constraints are different.
The output is meant to survive Monday morning. You get next actions, templates, budget notes, and explicit kill criteria rather than a pile of abstract recommendations.
Diffmode is not a static mockup wrapped around AI copy. The same production app handles diagnostics, enrichment, synthesis, and results delivery through a unified workflow.

Yes. Diffmode uses AI to cross-reference 576 growth mechanisms against your constraints and fuse them into new acquisition tactics. The mechanisms are the foundation: they come from documented case studies rather than being invented from scratch.
The synthesis starts from constraints, not from a blank marketing checklist. Product type, stage, budget, market saturation, and execution capacity all narrow the mechanism combinations, which is what makes the resulting tactics more specific.
Diffmode launched in 2025, and the growth mechanism database has been built through sustained extraction from real company case studies. The product and its prompts continue to evolve as the workflow and report delivery experience mature.
Bootstrapped founders and lean teams with a working product who have hit a growth plateau. It is especially useful when the usual channels feel crowded and you need a sharper angle than generic SaaS advice.
