Diffmode is operated by Agentic Builders Ventures, a company registered in Delaware, United States. In this policy, "Diffmode," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Agentic Builders Ventures.

2. Data We Collect

Account data

  • Email address
  • Password credentials processed through our authentication provider in hashed form

Growth audit and report data

  • Company URL, company name, product description, and positioning details
  • Business model, pricing context, stage, team size, and resource constraints
  • Target customer descriptions, competitors, and prior marketing activity
  • Goals, blockers, budget, and other information you provide while using Diffmode

Usage and device data

  • IP address, browser type, device information, approximate timestamps, and page views
  • Basic product analytics and error telemetry when those tools are enabled in production

Payment data

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Diffmode does not receive or store full payment card numbers.

Support and marketing communications

  • Messages you send us directly
  • Email address and preferences if you opt in to product updates

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Account data: to create and manage your account, authenticate you, and send service-related communications
  • Growth audit data: to generate strategy outputs, reports, and related product functionality
  • Payment data: to process purchases, prevent fraud, and maintain accounting records
  • Usage and telemetry data: to secure the product, diagnose issues, and understand how Diffmode is used
  • Marketing communications: only when you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time

4. AI & LLM Data Processing

To generate your growth strategy outputs, audit and report data may be sent to third-party AI providers, including:

We do not provide your business data to these providers for model training through consumer chat products. Your data is processed through API-based services to generate outputs for you, subject to each provider's API terms and retention policies.

Reports and generated outputs may be stored in your Diffmode account so you can view them later.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data under the following bases:

  • Contract performance: delivering the account, report generation, and paid services you request
  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, analytics, product improvement, and customer support
  • Consent: marketing emails and any non-essential tracking we may add in the future

6. Third-Party Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to operate Diffmode, such as:

  • Authentication and data infrastructure providers, including Supabase
  • AI providers, including Anthropic and Google
  • Payment processors, including Stripe
  • Product analytics providers, including PostHog when enabled
  • Error monitoring providers, including Sentry when enabled
  • Email and support infrastructure providers used to route or deliver messages

We do not sell your personal data.

7. International Data Transfers

Diffmode is based in the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Cookies & Tracking

Diffmode uses essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session continuity, and security.

In production, we may also use analytics technologies, including PostHog, to understand how the product is used and improve the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Account and report data: retained while your account is active and deleted within a reasonable period after a verified deletion request, subject to legal obligations
  • Payment and tax records: retained as required by accounting, tax, and anti-fraud obligations
  • Usage, analytics, and diagnostic data: retained according to our providers' standard retention settings unless earlier deletion is required

10. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your data in certain circumstances
  • Receive a portable copy of your data where applicable

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

11. Children's Privacy

Diffmode is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 16 years of age (or under 13 in the United States, where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
